Car Care Tips
July 2008
What can I do to have better gas mileage?
Here are a few tips:
1. Make sure your all your tires are at recommended tire air pressure, which is stated on a sticker on the driver side door.
*Note: over inflating your tires will not give you more mileage, and will cause danger to you personally as well as your vehicle.
2. Worn tires are proven to cause higher gas mileage under dry or wet road conditions.
How can you tell that your tires are worn?
Take a penny and position the Lincoln head down on any part of the grove in the tire treads. If you are able to see the top of Lincoln’s head, it is time to replace your tires.
